From December 2016 to October 2017 we have worked with a number of cities in Europe interested in promoting agroecological urban food policies through a network and its different exchange and learning working groups.
As a result of this work and the Congress held in Zaragoza in December 2016, a network in Spain has been born: the Network of Cities for Agroecology, which is moving steadily inwards and also looking towards Europe through the relationship with other existing sustainable food networks and cities.
In October 2017, the City Council of Zaragoza, promoter of the Agroecocities network, decided to focus its efforts on the Spanish Network of Cities for Agroecology, since it is acquiring much more weight and works both in Spain and in Europe. So, the web and social media accounts of the Agroecocities network are currently inactive.
We invite you to visit the website of the Spanish Network of Cities for Agroecology and from there get to know the work of Spanish cities in the field of agroecology and its links with other international activities.
